Welcome to my website!

I am a geochemist and senior scientific assistant in the Earth Sciences Department at ETH Zürich. My research focuses on events that happened on the early Earth and the processes that marked our transition to the habitable planet we know today. I utilize measurements of extinct radionuclide systems - those that experienced and finished their radioactive decay in primordial times - and pair them with traditional and non-traditional isotopic data. I work on a wide variety of igneous and metamorphic rocks from volcanic hotspots, continental interiors, and modern and ancient submarine environments. I also contextualize the compositions of these rocks using meteorites to understand how Earth evolved within the solar system.
